Summer is firmly upon us here at Universal AV, although we do wish someone would mention the season to the weather, and we are beginning to see the fruits of our earlier tender labours pay off with some pretty fantastic installations and projects.

The offices throughout the Country are at their quietest with multiple projects taking place and engineers, project managers and account managers all working with customers to ensure that the season known as “Silly Season” runs as smoothly as possible.

Project Success

Universal AV have maintained its stance on the NEUPC looking after existing customer relationships and carrying out summer work at The University of Leeds, York, Newcastle, Durham and Sheffield. Leeds Beckett University have also kept our project managers on their toes, in the single source agreement we hold with them. We have also seen significant wins in Nottingham, where we are delighted to be able to take the Universal AV installation experience (Universal AV Magic as we refer to it) to them.

It has been fantastic to see new clients come to the forefront too, with some fantastic wins over in the North West. The office in Manchester is really beginning to grow, with the addition of project managers and account managers, ensuring we can successfully deliver to the North West what we have delivered to the North East for many years.

With installations carried out and scheduled in Liverpool John Moores University, Blackpool & The Fylde College, Cumbria and Bolton, we are sure once they have the Universal AV Magic touch they will never look back…

Our Non Education team have been busy little bees as well, with some rather impressive installations across the QHotels Group, Morrisons Head Office, St Gemma’s Hospice and Cartwright Hall, where we have been integral in helping celebrate Bradford Icon David Hockney’s work.

A Few Comments from Our Customers

Head of Planning & Operation - Stoke 6th Form College - I’ve just returned from my annual leave and felt I needed to drop you a quick message to say thank you.  I’ve had glowing reports from Chris and the Estates team about the professionalism and quality of work from your engineers.

Cumbria University - Universal AV’s staff from initial concepts through to installation have guided the University through all steps and what is happening every step of the way.”

Head of Business Systems – NBS Newcastle - “We selected Universal AV to recommend, supply and install appropriate audio-visual equipment for our extensively refurbished head office in Newcastle. The Universal AV team were extremely flexible and worked round other contractors to install the chosen equipment to a high standard. It was important that the audio-visual equipment both supported the way that the NBS teams work and created a strong visual impact to emphasise the digital vision of NBS; I’m delighted to say that both requirements were met.”

Awards Update

We are delighted to have yet again been shortlisted for AV Reseller/Integrator of the Year at this year’s AV Awards in London, and are hoping to regain the title won in 2016.
